Axis 1 : Provision of healthcare performance

Development and measure of actions’ impacts in order to improve safety and performance of cares.

Those actions can be :

  • The creation of new structures and organization of cares
  • The introduction of professional behavior changes at the individual and / or teams level (the quality of interprofessional relationship)
  • The development of indicators of performance measure (including quality and safety)

   

 

Priority fields

  • Measure of individuals and teams performance which participate to cares:
    • To define main performance dimensions which have to be considered at the level of individual, team, structure or healthcare organization.
    • To propose validation methods of measure tools of performance
    • To develop methods of indicators interpretation which enable individuals and teams to regain / recover their performance

 

  • Individual and collective determinants of clinical performance
    • To study the influence of work organization on healthcare services performance
    • To identify the optimal ratio between individual and collective performance of healthcare teams
    • To identify the conditions of skills acquisition and efficient evolution of career

 

  • Development, evaluation and implementation of healthcare system performance improvement actions :
    • To formulate efficient and reproducible interventions by means of convincing scientific data and field observations
    • To establish rigorous evaluation methods of those interventions based on schemes of observational studies adapted to bring the proof of their efficiency
    • To provide support for the implementation of those complex interventions by the inclusion of human and organizational factors specific to their context of implementation
